I came across this artist on Instagram and was intrigued by these sculptures to research more. The colour palettes used and quirky textures really give the pieces a fun vibe. I think the movement of the medium captured within these make them seem almost alive, each having their own personality. The curvaceous shape in combination with pastel colours make them look friendly on the outside, but with perhaps something more sinister on the inside?
I would like to experiment further with achieving more textures similar to this within my own paintings, and maybe confusing the lines between a painting and a sculpture.
