Paint but no canvas…

In todays experiment I did a giant fluid pour combining glue, acrylics and glitter onto a plastic bin bag to enable me to peel it off once dry. I did this because I wanted to see how the paint would be existing without a solid surface. It was also fascinating to reveal the pattern on the underside of the surface which you wouldn’t normally see. It came out as a very delicate, flexible plastic like material. The shapes in a way remind me of Caroline Achaintres tapestries so would be interesting to do this on an even bigger scale and see the outcome.
